WHY ARE YOUR PRICES THE WAY THEY ARE?
My rates are currently below the industry average to keep them low for those in the indie space who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford services. Please keep in mind that all the services I offer require my time, labor, and a high skill level. If my rates still pose a problem for you, I am willing to discuss.
WHAT IS A SAMPLE?
Samples can be requested from potential editors to see whether or not they would be a good fit for you. You send me a thousand words from your project, tell me what you're looking for, and I edit it based on that. After I send it back to you, we can discuss if we would work well together.
DO YOU USE PROWRITINGAID?
No. I don't use AI. I think Google Docs uses Grammarly for their spell check, but I rarely even use that as I find it to be annoying and often incorrect. Every single edit is done by me and me alone.
Clients are free to use assistive AI for their manuscript before sending it to me. I only ask that no generative AI is utilized in their writing process.
